Hi, thanks for visiting my website and checking out my work.
I am a professional photographer in the Birmingham area of the UK specialising in portraits and events.
At the age of 30 I decided it was time for a change and so I began to think about what I really wanted to do in life. I had long been interested in photography and video and so decided that now was the time to try and make a living out of it.
I made my start in the world of stock photography and was quite pleased with my success in this area. I loved seeing my photos getting used throughout the internet in all kinds of places, from the Huffington Post to the BBC.
This spurred me on and helped me believe that I could really make a life out of photography. As I started to get a reputation amongst my friends and family as a good photographer it led to being recommended to several event jobs, which really helped me see what I was supposed to be doing with my life.
I shoot exclusively on Canon cameras and currently use a Canon 5D Mark IV and a Canon 80D. I prefer to shoot on prime lenses that do not zoom so having two great cameras is really helpful in order to have two different focal lengths available to me without changing lenses in the middle of a fast moving event.
